Moroccan Singer Fined $240,000 for Unauthorized Performance of Copyrighted Song
Moroccan singer Latifa Raafat has just been sentenced by the courts to pay a heavy fine for performing the song "khouyi", which is nevertheless part of her repertoire, without obtaining the consent of the rights holders.
