33 drill holes to uncover the copper and silver hidden beneath Morocco’s Atlas Mountains

British company Talisman Metals has just launched 33 drill holes in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains to search for copper and silver. The campaign will cover four kilometers on the Tirzzit project, located about 225 kilometers east of Agadir.

Medieval Moroccan Metallurgy: Sahara's Hidden Industrial Complex

Archaeologists have discovered the remains of a major medieval metallurgical complex near Akka. At Tamdoult, craftsmen produced silver, copper and brass destined for the great commercial routes crossing the Sahara.
