The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially apologized to Arryadia, the channel of the National Broadcast and Television Company (SNRT), after an advertising spot featuring a map of Morocco without its Sahara was broadcast during the opening ceremony of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) on Saturday in Rabat.
The High Authority for Audiovisual Communication (HACA) of Morocco has just authorized the creation of four new public television channels dedicated to sports.

SNRT will broadcast all the matches of the Lionesses of the Atlas, who will participate from July 20 next in the 2023 Women’s World Cup of Football, organized by Australia and New Zealand. The Moroccan public group confirms having acquired the broadcasting rights for the Moroccan territory.
Moroccans will be able to watch the Morocco-Croatia match live, for the first day of Group F of the World Cup. The announcement was just made by the Arryadia channel.
Moroccans will be able to follow all the matches of CAN 2022, which starts on Sunday in Cameroon, on Arryadia. The channel has managed to obtain the broadcasting rights.
