Sentenced to three years in prison and a fine of 40,000 DH for embezzlement of public funds and misappropriation of funds, Abdessamed Khannani, deputy of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS) and president of the commune of Boujniba, could see his sentence increased.

The financial crimes chamber of the Casablanca Court of Appeal has sentenced Abdessamed Khannani, a deputy of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS) and mayor of the commune of Boujniba, to three years in prison for embezzlement of public funds and misappropriation of funds.
