Chinese Rocket Debris Lights Up Moroccan Sky as Fireballs
The Calar Alto astronomical observatory in Almería detected the presence of fireballs in the Moroccan sky on Monday. They come from the Chinese Zheng 2F (CZ-2F) rocket that crossed the sky of Andalusia last Tuesday.
According to Professor José María Madiedo, from the Andalusian Institute of Astrophysics (IAA-CSIC), these fireballs come from the Chinese Zheng 2F rocket that flew over the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea off the coasts of Morocco, Spain and Portugal, reports ABC Andalucia.

Three of the detectors of the Smart project installed at the Calar Alto observatory in Almería were able to capture images of this meteorite, despite the haze and clouds.
