Computer Glitch at Morocco-Ceuta Border Causes Massive Traffic Jam
The Moroccan police at the Ceuta border were unable to carry out passport checks on travelers on Friday due to a computer system failure, causing a massive traffic jam at the border.

This failure in the Moroccan control system caused traffic jams at the Tarajal border in Ceuta, slowing down the departure of travelers to or from Morocco, reports El Faro de Ceuta, noting that this is not the first time such an incident has occurred on the Moroccan side of the border.
The incident affected the fluidity of the movement of people and vehicles on both sides of the border. Spain, for its part, is working to implement a facial recognition system in order to strengthen the documentary control of travelers and avoid traffic jams.
