Drug trafficking network between Morocco, Belgium and Argenteuil dismantled

The case began seven months ago, in April, when the police were informed of the activities of a team led by two brothers based in Argenteuil. This structured group organized the importation of illicit goods from abroad, transporting ecstasy from Belgium and cannabis from Morocco to the Paris region. The investigations also revealed that a portion of the cannabis resin was intended for a dealer detained at the Osny remand prison, introduced with the alleged assistance of an employee of an external company.

A go-fast intercepted at the toll booth with 241 kg of ecstasy

Thanks to wiretaps and surveillance, the investigators from the judicial police learned that a typical "go-fast" transport was scheduled from Belgium during the night of November 19 to 20, 2025. A large-scale operation, including the research and intervention brigades, made it possible to follow the convoy composed of a lead car and a cargo vehicle on the A1 motorway.

The law enforcement officers intercepted the traffickers at the Chamant toll booth, in the Oise department, discovering 241 kg of ecstasy tablets. The subsequent operations led to the arrest of five other suspects and the seizure of 29 kg of cannabis resin as well as more than 10,000 euros in cash during the searches. In total, eight men aged 23 to 58 were indicted, and seven of them were placed in pre-trial detention.
