A network suspected of shipping drugs from Spain to France by parcel was dismantled during a police operation coordinated by Europol. Investigators discovered cash, narcotic products and documents linked to real estate properties in Morocco.
A criminal network that was sending drugs from Castelldefels, near Barcelona, to Rennes, in France, was dismantled by the Spanish National Police and French police. According to El Caso, traffickers were using courier companies that were unaware of the actual contents of the parcels being transported.

The investigation, launched in July 2025, made it possible to identify two men presented as the heads of the network. They were arrested in Spain on the basis of a European arrest warrant issued by France, which suspects them of belonging to a criminal organization, money laundering and drug trafficking. In Spain, they are also being prosecuted for drug trafficking, smuggling and document forgery.

During the raids, police seized 5.54 kg of cocaine, 43.14 kg of hashish, 12.42 kg of vacuum-sealed marijuana, 3,070 packs of tobacco, 90,890 euros in cash, cryptocurrencies, luxury items and two high-end vehicles. Documents would also show the purchase of properties in Spain, France and Morocco. One of the suspects was placed in provisional detention, the other released under judicial supervision with passport withdrawal.
