The earth shook in northern Morocco
The earth shook on Thursday evening off the Moroccan coast. A seismic shock of a magnitude of 4.0 on the Richter scale was recorded in the Alboran Sea, according to data provided by the National Institute of Geophysics (ING).

The phenomenon occurred precisely at 6:32 pm (GMT+1). According to the seismic alert bulletin issued by the National Seismic Monitoring and Alert Network, the epicenter of the shock was located at sea, at a depth of 59 kilometers (latitude 35.749 °N and longitude 4.471°W).
While the epicenter was offshore, the shock did not go unnoticed on land. Several residents of cities located on the Mediterranean coast reported feeling a slight tremor at the time of the incident. No material damage was reported.
