The Great Mosque of Paris has officially set the date of the Feast of Sacrifice for Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Two morning prayers will be organized to welcome the faithful during this major celebration.
The month of Dhul-Hijjah began this Monday, May 18, with the religious commission validating the appearance of the new moon on Sunday evening. The religious calendar is therefore definitively set: the Day of Arafat will take place on Tuesday, May 26. From the following morning, the Paris mosque plans a double service at 7:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. in order to manage the crowd and receive the public under optimal conditions.
