The Moroccan dirham appreciated by 0.23% against the euro and 0.89% against the dollar during the period from May 7 to 13.

The dirham lost value during the month of April 2020, according to Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM). It depreciated by 4% against the Euro and 5.47% against the US Dollar.

The dirham appreciated by 0.19% against the euro and depreciated by 0.46% against the dollar during the period from April 2 to April 8, according to Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM).

The Moroccan currency depreciated by 4.56% against the dollar and 3.40% against the euro during the period from March 26 to April 1. This is the main point to remember from Bank Al-Maghrib’s (BAM) monthly review.

The Moroccan currency has depreciated by 5% against the euro and the dollar in one week. For their part, banks are facing a shortage of foreign exchange due to the lockdown and the closure of borders.

The dirham depreciated by 0.58% against the euro and 2.06% against the dollar, during the period from March 19 to 25, according to Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM).

The Moroccan currency appreciated by 1.22% against the euro and depreciated by 1.93% against the dollar, during the period from March 12 to 18, according to Bank Al Maghrib.
