Three members of the Esprit de Fès Foundation were sentenced on Tuesday to a term of imprisonment and a fine. These legal troubles come a few days after the closing of the 26th edition of the Fez Festival of Sacred Music of the World.
The Esprit de Fès Foundation has issued a statement in which it has emphasized that it is the sole organization responsible for the Fez Festival of World Sacred Music , and that the non-holding of the festival since last year takes into account the respect of the measures taken by the authorities to fight against the spread of Covid-19. This clarification comes in response to an announcement made by a third party to organize the next edition of the Festival, from June 4 to 12 under the theme "New Andalusias".
