The Serbian Embassy in Rabat has issued a formal denial of reports that it refused to issue visas to members of the sports high school club in Aïn Sebaa expected in Belgrade to participate in an international handball championship.
The members of the Aïn Sebaa sports high school club who were to travel to Belgrade to participate in an international handball championship were unable to obtain their visas. The Serbian embassy in Morocco, fearing attempts at illegal immigration , simply refused to issue the visas.
The president of the board of the Algerian Handball Federation (FAHB), Abdelkarim Bendjemil, speaking about the participation or not of the Algerian team in the next African Cup of Nations to be held in Laâyoune, assured that the Algerian state opposes the choice of this city and has already started discussions to have the CAN played in another Moroccan city.
