« Hey Grok » : the new command coming soon to Teslas in Morocco
Tesla drivers in Morocco should soon be able to use Grok directly from their vehicles. The artificial intelligence assistant will be able to answer their questions, as well as manage navigation, calls, music and climate control.
Tesla is preparing to extend Grok to Morocco. The automaker’s official account for Europe, the Middle East and Africa announced on September 16 that its artificial intelligence assistant would soon arrive in the “Middle East and Morocco,” without specifying the exact rollout date.
New technical details have since been published. The US-based specialist website Not a Tesla App reports that this extension is expected to accompany software update 2026.32.6, which had not yet been distributed to the public when its article was published on September 20.
However, not all vehicles will be compatible. To use Grok, a Tesla must be equipped with an AMD Ryzen multimedia processor and have either a Premium Connectivity subscription or a Wi-Fi connection. No separate Grok account will be required.

This new feature comes a few months after Tesla’s official launch in Morocco. The automaker sells the Model 3 and Model Y there, among others.
Navigation, calls and climate control by voice
Once the update is installed, Grok can be opened from the application launcher displayed on the central screen, using the microphone button on the steering wheel or by saying “Hey Grok.”
The assistant will not be limited to answering the driver’s questions. In assistant mode, it will be able to search for a destination, modify a route, make a call, find and play music, or adjust the climate control. It will also be able to consult the vehicle’s digital manual to explain a car feature and create reminders associated with a location.
However, the functions offered will depend on the installed software version and the vehicle concerned. Tesla has not yet indicated the precise date on which update 2026.32.6 will be distributed to Moroccan owners.
Grok will not take control of driving. Its integration concerns voice assistance, the multimedia system and certain vehicle controls. It remains separate from Autopilot and supervised Full Self-Driving, which is not yet offered in Morocco.

Tesla now has a Moroccan commercial website and a Supercharger network located notably in Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Marrakech, Agadir and Fès. The announced arrival of Grok is expected to add a new software feature to vehicles already present in the Kingdom, subject to their hardware compatibility.
