Magnitude 4.0 Earthquake Strikes Central Morocco's Khénifra Province
The province of Khénifra was hit by a seismic shock of a magnitude of 4 degrees on Tuesday, October 8, according to the National Institute of Geophysics (ING).

This earthquake occurred in the commune of Sidi Yahya Ou Saad at 8:48:14 pm (GMT+1), notes the National Seismic Monitoring and Alert Network of the ING.
The same source also specifies that the felt shock has a depth of 1 km, a latitude of 32.696°N and a longitude of 5.623°W.
For now, no loss of life or material damage has been recorded. A few weeks ago, an earthquake of magnitude 4.7 on the Richter scale had hit northern Morocco.
