Muslim Journalist Challenges French Press Card Hijab Ban
Franco-Moroccan journalist Manal Fkihi has announced her intention to challenge the rule prohibiting veiled women from wearing the hijab on the photo of the French press card. This decision follows the refusal of the Press Card Issuance Commission (CCIJP) to grant her request due to the wearing of her veil.
