Marrakech: watch out for your caps!
In Marrakech, thieves are not only interested in phones or wallets. Two men suspected of carrying out multiple luxury cap thefts in the upscale neighborhoods of Guéliz and L’Hivernage have just been arrested.
The two suspects allegedly targeted these valuable accessories on several occasions, taking advantage of the constant activity in these busy neighborhoods to strike.

Their spree came to an end on Sunday evening. Motorcyclists from the traffic unit spotted them as they were about to commit another theft in Guéliz and immediately set off in pursuit.

The police eventually managed to apprehend the two men. The items that had just been stolen were also recovered on the spot.
The initial findings of the investigation suggest that the suspects were specifically looking for valuable goods in Guéliz and L’Hivernage. Luxury caps were among their recurring targets.

The two men were placed in police custody at the disposal of the Guéliz judicial police.
