Moroccan AI technology to monitor French factory machinery
A predictive maintenance solution developed by OCP Maintenance Solutions is set to be offered to French industrial companies. The Moroccan group’s subsidiary is partnering with Japan’s NTN to detect breakdown risks using data and artificial intelligence.
The partnership was announced on September 21 by NTN Europe. It brings together NTN’s expertise in bearings, rotating equipment and industrial diagnostics with the monitoring and analysis technologies developed by OCP Maintenance Solutions.
The data collected from the machines should make it possible to identify anomalies more quickly, better schedule maintenance operations and reduce production stoppages.

The system will first be deployed in France before gradually being expanded to other European markets.
Nearly a year of testing before launch
The partnership is based on nearly a year of joint work. In particular, the two companies conducted tests on bearings to assess the Moroccan predictive maintenance solutions.
These technologies are already being used in Morocco, Côte d’Ivoire, Pakistan and India. The agreement will now enable OCP Maintenance Solutions to offer them to NTN’s industrial customers in France, and then throughout the rest of Europe.
“Industrial companies are no longer waiting solely for high-performance technologies; they are expecting measurable results,” explains Abdenour Jbili, CEO of OCP Maintenance Solutions. The aim is to improve machine availability and limit costly interruptions to production lines.
Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly important role in industry, particularly in order to anticipate failures and reduce maintenance costs.
