Moroccan Man Sentenced to Life for Fatal Beating of 7-Year-Old in Naples
Life imprisonment was handed down by the criminal court in Naples against a Moroccan prosecuted for the murder of a 7-year-old child.
The facts date back to January 27, 2019. Tony Essobdi Badre, a Moroccan national, was living in a common-law relationship with Valentina Casa, a 31-year-old Italian woman, mother of three children.
That day, little Giuseppe Dorice had borne the brunt of the anger of his mother’s lover. Beaten and beaten with a broomstick, the child eventually died. His little sister miraculously survived.
In its indictment, the public prosecutor’s office requested life imprisonment against the mother, for failure to assist a person in danger and intentional concealment of facts. The young woman, who was ultimately sentenced to 6 years in prison, had precisely tried to conceal traces of blood and cover up her lover’s crime by denying his involvement in the assault.
