Morocco Eases Travel Restrictions: Home Quarantine Now Allowed for Unvaccinated Arrivals
The obligation for Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) and foreign tourists coming from countries on the B list to observe a quarantine at the hotel has just been lifted. They can now be isolated at home.
Relief for MREs and foreign tourists. Unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated travelers from countries on the B list will no longer have to observe a 10-day quarantine in one of the hotels selected by the Moroccan authorities. They are now authorized to self-isolate at home and must communicate their address to the authorities.
Persons over the age of 12 who do not have a vaccination pass are required to present a negative PCR test upon arrival in Morocco and undergo another one as the quarantine period comes to an end. Home isolation does not apply to travelers who have a vaccination pass, issued at least 14 days ago.
On Sunday, Morocco updated its B list comprising all countries experiencing a spread of variants or a lack of accurate statistics on the epidemiological situation. France, Portugal and Spain are now on this list.
