Morocco Extends Tax Payment Deadline, Offers Penalty Waivers Before July 1
The counters of the General Treasury of the Kingdom (TGR) are exceptionally open on June 28 and 29 until 6 pm and on Wednesday, June 30 until 8 pm. The TGR announces that it has taken this measure to allow taxpayers to settle their taxes, duties and other public debts before July 1, 2021.

"This measure allows taxpayers to [...] be able to automatically benefit from the cancellation of penalties, fines, surcharges, late payment interest and collection costs," says a TGR press release.
The same document informs taxpayers that they have the possibility to pay via the TGR website (tgr.gov.ma), bank ATMs (ATMs), e-banking sites, mobile banking applications, as well as bank transfers, 24/7.
