Morocco High-Speed Train Kénitra-Marrakech 2030 World Cup
The construction of the high-speed rail line connecting Kénitra to Marrakech is accelerating. This colossal railway project will transform travel in Morocco and actively prepares the country to host the 2030 World Cup.
Infrastructure work is entering its concrete phase according to the National Railway Office (ONCF). Currently, 92 road and rail bridges are under construction, while earthmoving operations have already reached 20 million cubic meters. Teams are also building fifteen massive viaducts and developing three covered trenches totaling one and a half kilometers, distributed near Mohammed V airport, Zenata and Aïn Atiq.

This direct extension of the Al Boraq network stretches 430 kilometers. It integrates into the vast "ONCF Cap 2030" plan with a budget of 96 billion dirhams. The Casablanca railway hub will be transformed with an expansion to six tracks between Mohammedia and Nouaceur and the enlargement of over forty urban structures.
