Morocco Reopens Air Borders: Marrakech Airport Welcomes 28 International Flights
For the first day of the reopening of air borders, Marrakech-Menara International Airport, Morocco’s top tourist destination, is expected to welcome numerous flights from around the world.
In detail, 28 flights have been scheduled for this Monday, February 7, according to a statement from the management, which indicates that 22 and 34 flights will be expected on Tuesday and next Wednesday respectively.
Among these international flights, 12 flights with a total of 1,945 passengers, 6 from France (3 from Paris, 1 from Nantes and 1 from Lyon, 1 from Marseille), 2 from Spain (Barcelona and Madrid), 2 from Portugal (Lisbon), 1 from Geneva and 1 from Istanbul.
This traffic should increase significantly in the coming days, reaching 45 flights next Thursday, then 57, 53 and 52 flights in the following days, for a total of 291 flights per week.
