The American giant is rolling out paid plans globally for its flagship applications. Starting this week, Morocco will be part of a select group of countries testing unprecedented subscriptions specifically targeting content creators and businesses.
Alongside Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Bangladesh, the Moroccan market will launch the group’s professional offerings. The "Meta One Essential" plan, billed at $14.99 per month, includes a certification badge and protection against fake profiles. The "Advanced" option at $49.99 promises to dramatically boost visibility. Its subscribers will be featured in news feeds, rank higher in searches and can insert commercial links directly into their videos or posts.

This commercial offensive also affects the general public on a global scale. Facing an audience that has already reached global saturation point, the company is seeking new growth drivers. Internet users can now subscribe to "Plus" versions of Instagram and Facebook for $3.99 monthly, or WhatsApp for $2.99. These variants unlock customization features, detailed statistics on views or the ability to view content discreetly, without replacing the current Meta Verified program.
Finally, the firm plans to monetize its recent artificial intelligence tools. Plans ranging up to $19.99 monthly will allow users to generate more videos or process particularly complex requests, with initial trials planned next month in Asia and Latin America. The stated objective is to eventually merge all these subscriptions under the single "Meta One" brand, as detailed by Naomi Gleit, the company’s product director, in an announcement posted on Instagram.
