Former Moroccan Official Sentenced to 6 Years for Embezzlement and Fraud
The president of the commune of Mrirt (province of Khénifra) Mohamed Adal was sentenced, Thursday, to 6 years in prison by the Criminal Chamber of First Instance in charge of financial crimes at the Court of Appeal of Casablanca. He is accused of "participating in the waste and embezzlement of public funds entrusted to a public official" and "creating and selling real estate areas without authorization".
