Reality TV Star Marwa Merazka Faces Health Scare After Lip Filler Removal Procedure
While she wanted to remove lip injections, the Moroccan-Algerian Marwa Merazka, a famous French reality TV candidate (Princes et les Princesses de l’Amour 9, Les apprentis aventuriers or Le reste du monde) narrowly avoided disaster.
"When I was younger, I had lip injections and I didn’t really like them anymore, she recounts on her Instagram account. So I wanted to remove my injections, because my bottom lip was not at all symmetrical to the top one. I went to someone who is qualified and who injected me with a product that absorbs hyaluronic acid. In fact, when you get this product injected, it’s normal for your lips to swell. My lips started to swell when I was at the office, but to me it was normal."
At night, the damage from her procedure begins to appear. It is a serious allergic reaction. In a video posted on the same social network, she shows her "deformed face". "You see me laughing about it now, but I really narrowly avoided disaster, because the swelling can reach your throat and you can have difficulty breathing." Marwa Merazka then regained her lips as they were before the aesthetic procedure.
