Spain Extends Schengen Border Closure, Excluding Morocco and Others Until September 30
The Official State Gazette announces that the external borders of the Schengen area will remain closed until September 30. This is the decision made by the Spanish government.

The justification for this decision is the resurgence of Covid-19 cases in Spain. Citizens arriving in Spain from 11 non-European countries such as Tunisia, Australia, Canada, Japan, Rwanda, China, are not affected by this temporary ban. Likewise, healthcare professionals, students, cross-border workers, etc. are excluded from the decision.
Morocco is not one of these 11 non-European countries.
