Tragic Discovery: Teen Migrant's Body Found in Moroccan Waters Near Ceuta
The lifeless body of a young man, who tried to reach Ceuta by swimming, was found in Moroccan waters.

According to witnesses, the victim’s body, clearly a minor, had been floating in Moroccan waters for hours. It was found in Fnideq, "near the roundabout of the Ibis hotel, opposite the auxiliary forces barracks," says an activist, who specifies that "so far, no authority has intervened to remove the body of this young man who drowned while trying to enter Ceuta."
Many Moroccans try to reach Sebta by swimming every day, at the risk of their lives. Some are reported missing by their families who are trying to find out if they are still alive. Since the beginning of the year, nearly 40 bodies of migrants have been found in Ceuta.
