Transavia Strike Threatens Summer Flights to Morocco, Union Demands Pay Raises
The airline Transavia could cancel flights to Morocco due to a strike planned by the SNPNC-FO union next week.
The flight attendants and stewards of the airline Transavia France will observe a strike from Wednesday, July 13 to Sunday, July 17, following the call launched by the SNPNC-FO cabin crew union this Sunday, July 10, 2022, reports Le Monde. The latter is demanding salary increases and denouncing the working conditions of the crews of the low-cost company, indicates a press release.
The flights planned for this summer are disrupted due to the strike calls. The demands are almost the same: salary revaluation, improvement of working conditions. On Friday, the employees of the Parisian airports have, for their part, obtained satisfaction. A general increase of 3% is planned for all the employees of the ADP group, manager of the airport facilities, a revaluation of the salary scales and a leveling up of the remuneration of some 1,800 employees whose salaries are below the reference level of 2019, details the CGT.
