Woman Arrested After Violent Knife Attack on Partner in Marrakech Street
The city of Marrakech woke up to a horrific homicide on Saturday, February 1, in the Bab doukala neighborhood. A young woman, in a hysterical state, attacked her companion by surprise.

The couple was walking quietly along a thoroughfare in the ochre city, when the young woman entered a trance-like state, inflicting several knife blows to the young man’s neck.
A severe hemorrhage followed, according to sources cited by the site Akhbarona, which specifies that the victim was then transferred in critical condition to the Ibn Tofail hospital.
Residents and passers-by rushed to the scene of the drama, preventing the young woman from fleeing, until the police arrived at the scene of the tragedy.
