The low-cost airline Flynas will inaugurate, starting July 4, a direct weekly connection between Jeddah and Rabat. It is the first Saudi carrier to operate a non-stop flight between these two cities.
This new route offers one rotation per week, thus complementing the existing service to Casablanca. Since 2023, the company has indeed operated three weekly flights to the economic capital. This development responds to a demand for flexibility from passengers. The launch of this line particularly simplifies access to the Holy Sites for Umrah pilgrims and visitors, who will transit through King Abdulaziz International Airport.

The opening of this air corridor is part of a broader plan for Saudi civil aviation and its program dedicated to the pilgrimage experience. By 2030, the objectives set aim to capture 330 million passengers and open 250 international destinations. The first airline listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange, Flynas claims to have transported 110 million customers since its creation in 2007. The company currently operates more than 2,000 flights each week across 38 countries and aims to reach a total of 165 destinations.
