Glovo is set to change ownership in Morocco. Uber has launched a €13 billion bid for Delivery Hero, the German group that controls the delivery platform. The operation explicitly plans to retain Glovo’s Moroccan operations in the future.
Information claiming that a bank data hack was orchestrated via the Glovo app, the Moroccan subsidiary of the delivery platform, turns out to be false.
The food delivery app "Haat" ("bring" in Arabic), which until now has operated exclusively in the Arab and predominantly rural sector in Israel, plans to offer its services abroad, including in Morocco.
On Monday, the start-up Glovo announced that it had raised 150 million Euros. The Spanish firm, which is investing in delivery and on-demand, intends to support its growth and become the number one urban app in Morocco and the world in the long run.
