Hassan II Stadium: six motorway lanes to absorb traffic for the 2030 World Cup
Road access to the future Hassan II grand stadium in Benslimane will be significantly upgraded. Among the planned works is the construction of three lanes in each direction on RP3308, between the Mohammedia-Est interchange and RN1.
Morocco’s National Motorway Company (ADM) is investing nearly 39.6 million dirhams in two new technical lots related to these improvements. The first, estimated at 31.2 million dirhams, concerns public lighting and the electricity supply for the upgraded roads.

The works, scheduled to last twelve months, notably include the installation of streetlights, medium- and low-voltage networks, and transformers. They will accompany the reconfiguration of several provincial roads around Benslimane and Mansouria.
Three lanes in each direction between Mohammedia and RN1
The most visible change will concern provincial road 3308. It is to be expanded to three lanes in each direction between the Mohammedia-Est interchange and national road 1.
Other roads will also be transformed. RP3304 is to be doubled between regional road 322 and RN1, with the construction of the Mansouria interchange, and then extended to regional road 313. RP3323 will also be doubled at the Bouznika interchange on the Casablanca-Rabat motorway.
A second contract, estimated at 8.35 million dirhams excluding taxes, covers horizontal and vertical road markings as well as road safety equipment. Its execution period is set at five months.

The opening of bids is scheduled for September 2, 2026, at ADM’s headquarters in Rabat. These contracts add to the works undertaken to upgrade access to the future Hassan II stadium ahead of the 2030 World Cup.
