Moroccan Pharmacist Dies from COVID-19, First in Profession
Pharmacists engaged in the fight against coronavirus have just lost one of their own. The deceased was 60 years old and owned a pharmacy in Béni Mélal.

Since Morocco recorded its first case of coronavirus infection, doctors, nurses and caregivers have been taking turns day and night "at the bedside of infected patients" to provide them with comfort and healing. Meanwhile, pharmacists, a very important link in the chain, are watching to satisfy their customers, despite the risk of contamination.
This first death recorded in the ranks of pharmacists occurred on Wednesday, April 29 in a hospital in Casablanca.
Note that Morocco has some 12,000 pharmacies across the country.
