Moroccan Police Seize Over 3 Tons of Cannabis in Nador Drug Bust
The judicial police brigade of Nador successfully thwarted an attempt at international drug trafficking on Thursday. It was based on valuable information provided by the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST) that the police managed this feat by seizing 3.382 tons of cannabis resin.
It is through a press release that the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) informs that these quantities of drugs were seized on board a large utility vehicle, registered in Spain. The occupants of the vehicle abandoned it, after it deviated from its route in an unpaved mountainous area, in the Tazaghine region.
The judicial police brigade of Nador is continuing the research and investigations, in order to determine the ins and outs of this case, dismantle this criminal network, presumed to be involved in international drug trafficking operations.
