A Motorcyclist Dies in Marrakech, Two French Nationals Arrested Before Leaving Morocco
A French man and woman were arrested Saturday at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca. Aged 26 and 28, they are suspected of being involved in a fatal accident that occurred in Marrakech and of having attempted to mislead justice.
According to the initial findings of the investigation, their car was allegedly involved in a collision with a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider died and the passenger was seriously injured.

The accident was filmed, and the video subsequently circulated on messaging applications. After the incident, the two French nationals allegedly left the scene in another car, fueling suspicions that they attempted to mislead justice.

The investigation enabled Marrakech police to identify the two suspects and track their movements. They were eventually intercepted at Casablanca Airport as they were preparing to board a flight to leave Morocco.
