Norwegian tourist missing in Morocco found safe in Agadir hotel
A 34-year-old Norwegian triggered his family’s concern after missing his return flight from Marrakech and stopping answering his phone. While his loved ones believed he was lost in Morocco, police found him safe and sound in an Agadir hotel.
The alert had been raised with the Marrakech police services. The tourist had not boarded the flight that was supposed to take him back to Norway and his family could no longer reach him.

Searches were then launched in coordination with Agadir police. They ultimately made it possible to locate the traveler in a hotel establishment in the city, reports TelQuel.
A disappearance that wasn’t one
The Norwegian had suffered no accident or assault. Police found no criminal circumstances related to his absence.

He was taken to the judicial police service in Agadir to complete the search procedure in the interest of the families. His relatives in Norway were then informed that he had been found in good health.
