Ryanair launches a new flight to Morocco
On 25 October, Ryanair will launch its new direct route between Rabat and Stockholm-Arlanda. Two weekly flights are scheduled between the two capitals, with a stated flight time of 4 hours 50 minutes.
The first flight will leave Stockholm-Arlanda on Sunday 25 October under flight number FR848. This new service will provide a direct connection to Rabat-Salé Airport, without a stopover.
The route was among the latest openings recorded on Monday 14 September by Aviation Week. It had been announced in August among the seven new destinations secured by Rabat for the winter season, but its schedule had not yet been detailed.

Ryanair confirmed on 10 September that Rabat would be one of the three new routes launched this winter from Stockholm-Arlanda, along with Warsaw and Wroclaw. The airline will also add a Boeing 737 to its base in the Swedish capital.
Two direct flights per week
The 3,385-kilometre route will be operated twice a week on a Boeing 737. Its scheduled duration is 4 hours 50 minutes. Bookings are now open on Ryanair’s website.
The opening of Stockholm extends the development of the Ryanair base in Rabat, operational since April 2026. Two aircraft have been assigned there to strengthen international connections from the Moroccan capital.

The new route is part of Ryanair’s record winter programme in Morocco: 156 routes to 14 European countries and 5.3 million seats. It notably complements the new route between Agadir and Gdańsk, also launched for winter 2026-2027.
