Transavia Expands Moroccan Routes, Unveils European Summer Blitz
Transavia, the low-cost subsidiary of the Air France KLM group, announces the opening of a new route to Morocco for next summer.
Transavia is strengthening its presence in Morocco. The airline will serve Marrakech from Rennes-Bretagne (Ille-et-Vilaine) on Thursdays and Sundays next summer. One-way tickets will be offered starting at €59. The low-cost subsidiary of the Air France KLM group also plans to extend the existing route from Brest-Bretagne (Finistère) airport on Tuesdays and Saturdays from March 29 to October 31. It also includes Tunisia in its summer 2026 program: flights will be operated to Djerba (Tunisia) from Montpellier-Méditerranée (Hérault) airport.
Transavia plans to launch new European routes and strengthen existing ones. From April 2026, it will increase the frequency: the six weekly connections from Orly (Val-de-Marne) airport to Stockholm (Sweden) and seven to Venice (Italy) and 28 to Madrid will increase to 10, 14 and 34 weekly flights respectively, according to the Air France-KLM subsidiary in a press release. It will also allow travel to new destinations in Europe: Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Pisa (Italy), Araxos (Greece) as well as Bourgas (Bulgaria), always from Orly.
