Vueling launches numerous flights to Morocco
The Spanish airline Vueling is strengthening its connectivity with Morocco, designated as a priority market. New routes and increased frequencies are announced to Nador, Fez, Marrakech and Tangier.
The low-cost carrier, based in Barcelona, is multiplying connections from Catalonia. Vueling will launch direct flights to Nador and Fez. The connection with Nador will be provided regularly, with a planned increase during the summer season, while the opening of the route to Fez brings to five the number of Moroccan destinations served from Barcelona. It should also be noted that the Barcelona-Agadir link is being made permanent and will be maintained throughout the year.
The expansion is not limited to the Catalan capital. Vueling is developing its network from its other Spanish bases: a new route will connect Santiago de Compostela to Marrakech, and Alicante airport will inaugurate a direct connection to Tangier.
Founded in 2004, the company is thus reaffirming its ambition for growth on the Mediterranean axis, facilitating tourist and economic flows between Spain and Morocco.
