It takes off for Al Hoceima, returns to Brussels… then departs again three hours later
A TUI fly Belgium flight bound for Al Hoceima had to return to Brussels on Wednesday before departing for Morocco again just over three hours after its first takeoff.
Flight TB2523 operated one of the TUI fly routes between Brussels and Al Hoceima. Flightradar24 data shows that the Boeing 737-800 registered OO-TUJ took off from Brussels at 17:20 on Wednesday, August 19.
However, the aircraft did not continue on to Cherif Al Idrissi Airport. Flightradar24 records the flight as having been diverted to its airport of departure, Brussels. The available data do not establish the reason for this turnaround.

The passengers were ultimately able to resume their journey that same evening aboard the same aircraft.
A second takeoff at 20:22
The Boeing took off again from Brussels at 20:22, 3h02 after its first departure. This time, it continued on to Al Hoceima, where it landed at 22:00, compared with the originally scheduled arrival time of 19:45.
The aircraft then operated return flight TB2524. It left Al Hoceima at 22:57 to return to Brussels during the night.
The turnaround therefore caused several hours of delay for passengers on the Brussels–Al Hoceima route, without preventing the route from operating on the same day.
